Treatment Aids: After 2010 we have given financial assistance worth Rs. 70 Lakhs for the treatment of different ailments. In the year 2016 we have given assistance to more than 100 patients. We have a help desk to assist economically backward patients to get the financial assistance from the government for their treatment.

Pension: Identified 65 poor people who are not eligible for any pension from the government and for the last 75 months, we are giving pension on the 5th of every month.

“Vasadham Pakal Veedu”: On Dec. 21st 2016, we have successfully completed the 2nd anniversary of our dream project “Pakalveedu”,a centrefor those who are facing loneliness and monotony in their old age at home. We have facility for 25 inmates in our Pakalveedu and we provide to and fro convenience, food, prayer room, bed room, TV, radio, music, newspaper, medicines and many more.

Cancer : In association with the famous Oncologist Dr. V.P Gangadharan and the Oncology department of Kottayam Karithas, Kozhancherry Muthoott and Vaikom Indo American hospital, we are arranging regular medical camps for cancer patients. Also identified 35 poor cancer patients and providing medicines for 1 year from November 2016.

Ayurveda medical camp: We have successfully completed the 23rd Ayurveda medical camp which is scheduled on the 3rd Thursday of every month.

“Mizhideepam”: Conducted eye camp in all the schools of Cheppad Panchayath and identified the students having vision problems. Power glasses were provided to the needy students and those who require further treatment were given such facility in association with Ahaliya foundation and MTMM eye hospital.

Palliative care: In association with Dr. Abdul Salam of Alappuzha medical college, we are rendering palliative care to 40 bed ridden patients on a monthly basis at their home.

Wheel chair Distribution: In 2016, we provided a Motorised Wheel chair to the International Award winner and renowned mural painting artist Mr. Krishnankutty. Also provided wheel chairs to 3 others.

“Chiranthanam”:In order to familiarize the cultural and agricultural heritage of Onattukara among youth, we have organised an exhibition of household and Agro equipments in association with All India Radio.

Educational Activities: For the last 10 years, we are giving cash award and memento to the 10th and Plus 2 students who secured full A+ in their annual exam. From 2010 we are organizing District level Quiz competition to High School and Plus 2 students. Winners are given cash awards and mementos.

Organic farming: We have started organic farming in 2015 by farming different vegetables and other food grains. The yield from these farms is distributed among the villagers.

“PunyaSayanthanam” From 2010, on Oct 1st “the International Day for Old People”, we are honouring senior citizens above 75 years by adorning ponnada and by giving food kit. In 2016 we arranged this programme at 4 different centres of Cheppad Panchayath and honoured more than 300 senior citizens.
